What our listeners say...

If you know and love bossa nova, you'll love these tunes. Andrea has a GREAT voice. Just a delight to hear. - Steve Kobb

I'm not a jazz or bossa nova expert, I've just always loved the suave melodies and irresistible yet subtle rhthyms of bossa nova. This CD is the essence of what I like about this music, and it makes me feel I'm somewhere exotic and far away. - Angie

This is as close to the real deal as I've heard in a very long time. Andrea has a beautiful, natural, unaffected voice and so easy to listen to. The musicians obviously have a respect for the spirit and substance of the music and avoid the more common ego flights of irrelevant fancy that seem to be in vogue. In short, a pleasant listening experience that I'm very glad I found. - Bob Burford

This is a great CD. Bossa Nova has been a passion of mine since I first heard it many years ago. Being a jazz fan, I love the sophisticated melodies and rhythms of this ageless Brazilian genre and how it blends easily with American jazz. This CD is a generous collection of Bossa classics beautifully sung by a native carioca. The arrangements and the instrumental interludes between the vocals are brilliant. I love it. It makes me think of soft summer nights at the cafes across the street from Copacabana Beach. - Tom Gallen
